Give the Gift of Education
A college education in South Sudan costs a fraction of what it does in most parts of the world. Your donation goes farther and impacts deeper.
- $450 covers one year of tuition
- $600 provides a student’s living expenses for one year
- $1,050 funds a full scholarship (tuition + living) for one student for an entire academic year
- $4,200 supports a student for the full 4-year duration of their degree program

How to Give
PASS is powered by people like you—people who believe that South Sudanese youth, especially girls, deserve access to education and opportunity. Below are the many ways you can give hope, dignity, and a future.
One-Time Donation
A single act of generosity can open the door to a lifetime of opportunity. When you give once to PASS, you’re helping a South Sudanese student, especially a young woman take the next step toward education, stability, and hope. Your gift provides tuition, learning materials, and a chance to build a better future.
Join the Village — Our Monthly Donor Community
“It takes a village to send a girl to college.” By joining The Village, PASS’s monthly giving community, you become part of a global circle of steady support and the lifeline of our work. Your monthly gift ensures students have not only access to college, but also the safety, nourishment, and encouragement to succeed. Small gifts, given consistently, build futures that last a lifetime.
Sponsor a Student
Right now, there are high-achieving students in South Sudan waiting for one thing: your “yes.” A scholarship covers tuition, fees, and living expenses removing every barrier standing between them and their dreams. You’ll receive updates if you choose to and learn exactly how your investment is transforming a life, a family, and a future.
Corporate Matching
Make your generosity go even further. Many companies will match donations made by employees, doubling or even tripling the impact of your gift. Check with your employer to see if your donation qualifies and amplify your support for PASS students with no extra cost to you.
Capital Gains Giving
Donating appreciated assets like stocks or property is a tax-smart way to give. You may avoid capital gains taxes and make a bigger impact without affecting your cash flow. Your gift helps build a skilled, educated workforce in South Sudan and a more hopeful tomorrow.

Our Model Works
More than 95% of your support goes directly to the students
You will be hard-pressed to find any other registered IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a “direct support percentage” that is as high as ours! We are unique among other non-profit organizations in the US because we are entirely staffed by volunteers!
Impact the greater community, and their place in the world
The communities in which our students live out their professional careers will benefit from their expertise. Every graduate becomes a multiplier, uplifting their families and serving their communities.
College education is amazingly inexpensive in South Sudan
$1,050 supports one student for an entire year (tuition = $450 + $600 for annual living expenses). That means that your US dollars are getting more “bang per buck” in South Sudan than they will for almost any other purpose for which you use your money!
Your gift will go far
South Sudan is ranked in 2024 as the poorest country in the world. [Global Finance Magazine and other sources]. 82% of South Sudanese live in extreme poverty, so your contribution, no matter how big or small, will have an immense impact.
Your gift will keep on giving for a lifetime!
Your support is not a temporary fix like so many other charitable services. Our students will benefit throughout their lives from your support which will enable them to earn a college degree.
Make a connection
If you choose, you can experience the gratification of corresponding with your student and learn how you are directly impacting their life! [You may also choose to not correspond and remain anonymous]
You can change a life
Our college scholarship program is virtually the ONLY program available for South Sudanese youth. We have many students who are PASS scholarship qualified but who will ONLY go to college if someone decides to sponsor them.
