Harvesting Hope: Agriculture That Funds Education
PASS is developing an agricultural initiative designed to generate sustainable local revenue to support our scholarship program. This project will not only help fund student tuition and living expenses, but also create jobs, boost food security, and model long-term community resilience. By investing in the land, we’re building a future where South Sudanese youth can thrive both in the classroom and beyond.
In the spring of 2025, PASS leased 25 acres of land in South Sudan. We cleared the land of trees and bushes, cultivated it, and planted sorghum and ground nuts. We have educated and experienced agriculturists managing this project. We plan to lease and farm more land in the future if we receive financial support from donors.
